Music
what's this all about?:
In order for Koda Kumi to gain more interested fans, the Music section was created in order for curious people to download and sample her music. But, before you download anything please remember these mp3's are only up for sample and I'd appreciate it if you only keep them for 48 hours and delete them off your computer and instead decide to support Koda Kumi by purchasing her albums off yesasia.com and other sites. It's not my fault if you get in trouble for keeping these mp3's. Now, don't hesitate! If you haven't heard any of Koda Kumi's music, it's never too late to start!
Also, all these mp3's are uploaded on free upload servers. If the link expires, please contact me and tell me and I'll try to get the song back up as soon as possible. Note that this isn't an mp3 rotation. Songs will be added on occasionally, so if there's a song you see here, it will always be here.
The Meaning Of Peace
This was actually one of the first songs I've heard of Koda Kumi's and one of the reasons I got into her. The Meaning Of Peace is a collaboration between Koda Kumi and Korean/Japanese singer BoA and it was somewhat of a hit when it came out. This collaboration, I'm sure, got both of these talented artists more fans because they work together really well and their voices harmonize with each other perfectly. It's a really nice, addicting melody and something I'll never stop enjoying to listen to. At first, I couldn't differentiate between the two singers' voices, but now being huge fans of both of them, I can, and it's really amusing trying to guess who's singing when. :D
BUT
BUT is the title track of the single with the same name released in March 2007. When this song first came out and I listened to it, I loved it (of course I still do!). The beat is just so catchy and Kumi sounds at her best in here. Sure, the video was a bit controversial and caused some kind of an uproar in Japan, but she looked great in there. It's like a mix between an addicting, hip-hop piece with some rock added to it. It's extremely addicting and when I first heard it, I couldn't get it out of my head for weeks, and listening to the song as much as I did, I know it's not a good song to have in your head all the time, especially if you want to have a good night's sleep. ^^;
